WHEN GOD IS SILENT...

Jesus challenged a hurting woman to show His disciples how beautiful faithfulness can be.

He ignored her. She persisted. He turned away from her. She pleaded.

Then, surprisingly uncharacteristic, Jesus cut her even deeper. He called her a dog: "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs", He said. This hurting, desperate woman responded with some of the most beautifully faithful words you will ever find: "Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their Master's table." (Matthew 15:27)

This site is dedicated to the crumbs that fall from the Master's table.

Seeing But a Poor Reflection...

I began studying for the pastoral ministry in 1985. For over 25 years, I have intensely and intimately poured over God's Word. I have since come to the conclusion that the eternal beauty and sacrificial love of Jesus can never be fully grasped on this side of heaven... even though He is right here with us. Just when I think I have my hands around the fullness of the Bread of Life, I realize that the glory I'm living and loving are only crumbs of something so much greater.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus
who for the joy set before Him endured the cross!

Do You See What I See?

Inside the pages of this website, you will find my crumby thoughts on the holy Word of God. I don't claim a full view... only a dim picture that drives me to look more deeply. If you'd like to see what I see, please feel free to browse about.
